Desarrollo

With this system one side has the initiative. Having the initiative represent that this side is the attacker in this turn that (allowing to this side to decide in which areas of the map "hexagons" will launch attacks), the side without the initiative is the defender during this turn. This side will generally be limited to receiving attacks on its territory and defend it.
¿Quién
tiene la iniciativa? / Who has the initiative?
In the first round of the campaign the initiative will be assigned in a historical way, being the Allied the first to attack for regain control of the peninsula.
In the second and successive rounds the side with greater number of victories have the initiative, the ties count as ½ victory.
conquistar Zaragoza.
In this phase the generals with the initiative establish the objectives that are going to attack and they communicate it to the contrary.
The procedure is the next:
Attacking:
The attacking side will choose to attack one hexagon with an enemy city connected by a road with an own city. For example, General Castaños has the possibility of attacking Seville from Cadiz, since it is the nearest city connected by road. For his part General Wellington was able to leave Lisbon and attack Badajoz. In case of Allied victory, Castaños could attack from Seville to Manzanares, while Wellington could attack Madrid from Badajoz.
At each turn the attacking player chooses the hexagon connected by road with a city and communicates it to the French players, these will have to defend this hexagon. The route that connects the attacker base to the enemy city must be connected and under the control of the attacker. If not, the attacker must recover the route before moving forward.
For example, Wellington is in Madrid, but does not have the initiative and lost the battle for Zaragoza. The French attack from Ciudad Rodrigo to Badajoz and they capture it, cutting off this route from Lisbon to Wellington. In successive turns Wellington must recover the initiative and Badajoz, before conquering Zaragoza.
In this phase all the battles of the planning phase are playing.
Batallas
no presenciales / Non-face-to-face battles
evidentemente gana esa batalla.
It may happen that, due to lack of time, players' schedules or the number of battles in a turn; There are some uncontested battles, in this case, the campaign coordinator will resolve these battles without playing with modified dice rolls; According to the following procedure:
A modified 2D6 roll was made with a +1 for each victory of the rest of the generals of the same side during this turn; The side with the higher roll wins that battle.
The map is updated modifying the front line, each victory of the attacker conquers the hexagon attacked and all those united by the road from its base, as well as the adjacent ones that do not have cities. In case of victory of the defender, the territory is held in his hands and the attacker withdraws to his hexagon.
The General rankings are updated according to the following table:
Participate in battle 1 point
Win a battle 1 point
Loot the enemy baggage 1 point
This ranking serves to establish the best general of each side and the best general of the campaign.
